Julie (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Oregon and Washington. She earned her M.A. in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College, with a specialization and certificate in Eating Disorders. Since completing her master’s degree in 2013, Julie has continued deepening her work in somatic therapies, drawing on more than 20 years of experience in body-based healing approaches.
Julie specializes in eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Her approach is grounded in Health at Every Size® (HAES), Intuitive Eating, mindfulness-based practices, and the body-mind connection, while also integrating liberation-oriented and Culture-Centered Counseling frameworks.
Julie is trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS Level 2), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 2), EMDR and is certified in Psychedelic Therapy and Integration (PTI). She strives to create a collaborative, compassionate space where clients can reconnect with themselves and move toward greater healing, embodiment, and self-trust.
I strive to create a safe space for ALL people regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, size, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, religion, and background.
